about
October 2016 -
Columbus. The party was called Body Language. I had never seen someone 'trip out' on a track I made, but there he was. Standing directly in front of the speaker stack - a true 'bassface' contorted his facial expression and I knew he was digging this...
This track was released alongside its brother, 'Ally Allie' with two other contributions from San Diego producer Llama A. Jeff and I wanted to run So Tough as a sister label to SQL and ended up doing one more EP after this one under the same name.
This track is crisp, a little foreboding, with a thick & heavy bassline that makes it great for both small and large venues - fans of De Sluwe Vos I think will appreciate it.
Let me know what you think! Thanks for tuning in.
